Hey guys! It's been a long while since I shared my thoughts on food! Today, I'm gonna share with you the BEST SEAFOOD in PENANG! Gee Seng Seafood Restaurant 義成海鲜楼, which is located in Tambun. My family and i have been a fan of Gee Seng Seafood Restaurant 義成海鲜楼 since i was young, like really young, kindergarten time. Whenever we have a birthday celebration or someone from Tang Family got good academic result, my dad would always bring us to this seafood restaurant. But as we grow up, cafes and other angmo-korean-chapalang restaurants have been mushrooming in Penang. So, we rarely go to Gee Seng nowadays. A few months ago, after the MCO, we all craved for Gee Seng suddenly. Hence, here we were~
Below are the items that we ordered. FYI, they don't have any printed/written menu, so pls be prepared and just ask them what they have for that day haha.

Our all time fav. the sambal is really fragrant n not too spicy.

this sauce is amazing. u should definitely try this! and the sauce goes well with solely rice!

steamed crab.
this is our fav flavour when it comes to crab. we like the natural flavour of crab. not sure if u all are the same with us, we prefer it with eggs haha. U can also try their sweet sauce, it's actually not bad too; it comes with fried mantou/bun.

Fried salted egg mantis shrimps.
omo, i'm in love with this! it's crunchy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. and it's moderate in saltiness.

Salad sotong.
i don't know why my sis likes this so much. for me, i don't eat the batter skin haha. but the sotong squid inside is really fresh and eatable. this comes with mayonnaise, perhaps this is the reason why my sis insisted on ordering this haha
All in all, Gee Seng Seafood Restaurant 義成海鲜楼 is the best place for seafood (so far)~ all of the food above costed us around RM150 or even lesser for 5 tummies. PS: their drinks are cheap too! pls order haha. u can also try their fried beehoon, heard that it's yummy but i haven't tried it. their satay is good too! and it's free of parking. Ok, i shall stop here coz i'm so hungry now!
