Yo Yo Yo! Sorry, should be HOHOHO! It's the most wonderful time of the year! I love X'MAS a lot! It gives me a soothing vibe and I just feel really good and enchanted when it comes to Christmas! I know I'm a Chinese but... I got a lot of MIXs! Yes! I understand that the school holiday is gonna end right soon. So, why not throw an impromptu summer picnic or party by the sea with your flock of girlfriends or even your family or maybe you want to spend this #onelasttime moment with your lover? In this century of Tumblr-dominated or Instagram-ruled, we girls have to make sure everything we do is worth for a pic which deserves many likes right?! Even if the "likes" is not your thingy, you'll definitely feel lighted once you see every pic you took in whatever event is so professional-esque. Have you ever heard of "the law of attraction"? It means if you see a beautiful creature for long enough, you'll be prettier like that creature. Upshot, we should always make sure that everything we do is neat and pretty so that it can have the positive impact to us inside out!

Now, I'd graduated from my uni that's why I earn more time to spend in doing this kind of stuffs. But I started to work as well recently which means I might be busy as well. Haha! Merry Christmas everyone! I'm officially free from uni stuffs! Just for temporarily as next year January, there will be one dissertation knocking my door. Yet, to be extra positive during this festive season, it is going to be my very last semester. After that, I only can announce that I'm finally an adult as stepping into this 'indescribable' society (bet you know what I meant for those bread winners). Alright, today I'm gonna share a self-challenging not-following-the-recipe Rustic Milky Cinnamon Cake recipe. This is my own recipe and it's pretty easy to do. Well, I'm not saying that I'm a very learned baker. Don't over-expected ya my folks! My family claimed it was delicious doesn't mean everyone thinks it that way. Haha! Worth for a try though.

As I didn't go grocery store, so I ended up using all ingredients which I could find in my crisper. And, I didn't have any baking paper so it was quite hard for me to take out my masterpiece. I greased the baking pan in advance though. Maybe not enough as I'm very particular with the oil and calories one.
It meant to be rustic so this is it! Looks like a piece of soil. The chocolate colour thingy is cinnamon powder to warm ourselves up during this rainy season.
To present it with senses of Xmas or New year, you could embellish it with some leftover pretzels.

This is how it looks like in a whole. I put 3 little cute Santa on top to add on the feelings of Xmas. It was made from Strawberries and cream.

Low Calories Rustic Milky Cinnamon Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 200g brown sugar (the original recipe needs 400g but I cut them down and they tasted good! Lower calories, dear! Do you want to have SNSD's legs? haha)
- 1 tspn vanilla extract
- 280g all-purpose flour
- 2 and 1/4 baking powder
- 300ml milk
- 150 butter
- Pre-heat the oven at 180'C.
- Beat eggs on high speed for 5mins or until it thick and lemon-coloured. Gradually add sugar and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla. Then, combine the flour and baking powder to gradually add into the batter, beat at low speed until smooth. You may find it hard to beat but it's okay as you haven't add in the milk and butter.
- Heat up the milk and butter until melted. Gradually add into the batter until combined at low speed.
- Add in whatever ingredients you find in your crisper. As for me, I add in slices of 2 bananas, raisins, walnuts and topped the cinnamon powder before bake.
- Bake at 180'C for 30-35 mins then cool it down. It depends on the oven you use, as my 'nana' oven is pretty slow. So needs more time. You need to check it out every 6-10 mins.
Just like this, the steps are easy right?! Now, I'll tell you the texture. The texture is pretty much taste like a brownie. Moisture and sticky as I used brown sugar for health-wise decision. You may stick to the granulated sugar. It's sweet enough for your tongue trust me. I always use less sugar to bake cake. No need to mash the bananas, just need to cut it into slices of 1-2cm and it melts while in the oven.

Yo! Happy belated CNY to everyone!Although it's a bit late! Keke! During the CNY season and after-CNY season, I was really busy like a bee! I have always wanted to update my blog but I just couldn't manage my time to do so. Honestly, I was busying to gambling with my family! And, I earned much PROFITS! Keke *naughty sammy giggles*! I have set my mind, I want to use this temporary income for J.co Ice Cream!
Let's back to topic! On the day before Chor Yat, that's mean on the 30th, I baked again! Not cake, this time was cookies! I decided to bake it in last minute. I remembered I started to preparing the ingredients at around 3pm. The mixing session was real easy breezy for me but the most critical part was the decoration on the cookies. It took me 3 hours to finish decorating and baking these Doggie Cookies. Plus, my oven was like found in last century one, it could baked in a long period of time and it really killed me waiting in my dining room with the company of mosquitoes...!
Firstly, I intended to do two flavors. Fortunately, I didn't. Or else, I think I won't be able to 'goyang kaki' means resting with my family at that night! Reunion dinner! I just baked Horlicks flavor and it tasted really good! Let's have some pics to enjoy!

Today is officially the last day of 2012. This topic is gonna be the last topic I will update...last for the year of 2012!!! Haha! Gonna start a brand new 2012 soon. Our neighborhood always gathers together with tons of food and bonds our relationships even closer on the last week of December annually. This year, the gathering was happened on 29th December which means the day before yesterday. This kind of annual gathering had been waged since the year of 2007, if I am not mistaken. When I was still a little girl wearing a light blue apron attending to high school. Haha! Can't imagine I am all grown up! Unthinkable! Every year, my dad cooked his famous curry chicken for the neighbors. But this year, we've made it totally different. We did 2 so-called New Year Cakes for this party. YooHoo!!! It was my creative idea.
The party was gonna start at 7.30pm but I took my nap til 4pm. After waking myself up, I started to prepare for baking my New Year Cakes. All of my sisters weren't at home, so, I did it all! I got frustrated and anxious at first. Time healed my anxiety as I found that baking these cakes was just a piece of cake. Really! You just have to mix it, stir it and beat it. Haha!
My old nanna's oven was too old that it took much time to bake my cakes. I put it into the oven at 5pm but it was only perfectly cooked at 7pm. OMG! My nervousness was arising. Luckily, my sisters came home on time so they could help me out. Thanks to them. We got all dressed up with our comfy clothes and was preparing to go out enjoying Food Hunting.
