Konichiwa~ I can't believe that I have had more Japanese food than Korean food last year (2018). Happy new year peep! I'll continue to make your saliva drooling in this brand new year!!! Sushi Wafu is a new Japanese restaurant in Penang which just launched its third branch in last Dec. I was fetching mama Catherini and 2 kids and originally we wanted to try Tasty Toasty. As Catherini is pregnant, so we parked in Moulmein Rise (first time being there haha). Coincidentally, we found this Sushi Wafu and decided to give it a try then! Sushi Wafu's price is reasonable and it's freaking family friendly (scroll down to grasp it).

We ended up ordered some items to share as we wanted to eat everything. Hard to make decision kinda girls~

As we were sitting away from the Kaiten Sushi/Sushi-go-around, so we ordered the ala carte by referring to the menu.

Unagi sushi (RM2.8), Kappa Maki (RM1.8), Inari Salmon Mayo (RM2.8)
The middle one was ordered by the kid coz adults won't order that right haha. Recently, I fall in love with Inari Sushi (fried tofu skin one). To be real honest with you, I live on the earth for so long only tried this type of sushi in Dec 2018. Crazy right?! The only comment is that maybe they could improve in the rice. Not sure on the reason why but it's like not being wrapped properly so the rice dropped as I took it.

Ishiyaki Prok Kimuchi Rice Set with free flow ice cream (RM20.8)
The portion is big as well. The steamed egg pudding is smooth in texture. The rice is filled with kimchi flavor. Nothing to shout for, maybe this is not their signature.

Teppan Tako Yaki (RM10.8)
This came at the last as we add-on ordered this. OMG! This is by far the tastiest Tako Yaki ever! You guys have to try this! The flavor is on point, outer is crispy, inner is moist and soft!
Berlin cried and refused to eat just because of this! So, if you have kids, your kids will like this too! Let this 'eggs' machine to babysit your kids haha!

Self service one, eat as much as you could. Vanilla/Chocolate? But we only took 2 small scoops. Pls look at your weighing scale haha!
