KO.B.Q코비큐 Korean Restaurant has a branch at Elit Avenue which I think most of you guys know right? Not long ago, I labelled them as my no.1 top Korean Restaurant in Penang Click HERE to see the post!!! I was so delighted as I got the chance to visit this branch during my work day in celebration of Venessa's Birthday. Fortunately, they did not let me down. Let's see the pics!
So, these are their delicious and scrumptious side dishes. Their KIMCHI is always the BEST in Penang. Even Venessa (she thinks some KIMCHIs have that kind of unacceptable marker-pen scent) thinks that this is GOOD! Haha! However, to be honest, I still prefer the side dishes at Precinct 10 which are more special and distinct.
This is the complimentary dish. I'm not sure the name of this fish but I don't think it's my type of fish. The texture is a bit hard to bite and full of fishbone.
The flavor of their fried rice cake aka 떡볶이(tteokbokki) is rich and yum. The portion is huge! I wondered how 1 person could possibly finish this whole thing! One distinct loss is the ingredient. I think the ingredients are sumptuous yet they should put more fish cake instead of sausages. Coz I prefer the flavor of fishcake. The rice cake is cooked perfectly. Another Korean Restaurant that serves YUMMY Tteokbokki!
Kimchi again! I think the soup base is by far the most delicious one. And inside has the ramen, rice cake slices, pork pieces (really hard to take a bite which triggers toothache) and some other ingredients. I think this is worth to order if you go with many people.
And of course the BBQ pork! We ordered 3 different types of pork but when they were being served on table, I think the portion was way too ridiculously small. Lesser than Sambbap Restaurant. Yet, I personally prefer the quality to quantity. As long as it's more delicious and tender, I think it's always worthwhile. Some of my colleagues said that they still prefer Sambbap one though.
Selfies started!
If you guys want to visit this branch, be sure to reserve first coz on that day was Monday, still had so many people crowded here. People mountain people sea!
I can't really remember what made us laughed and giggled at that time.

After the KIMCHI-licious lunch, we went to Love A Loaf to buy a cake for surprising Venessa. When it comes to option, usually we choose chocolate cake within our comfort zone which is the safer in taste. I personally think this chocolate cake is at the so-so level as nothing really blew me away.
BLOOPIES, not ready yet.
On the other day, Venessa treated all of us a Starbucks! Kamsahamnida Soon Dae Byeo Nim (means representative) and happy belated bday!
