Today's sharing would be only spotlighting this royal afternoon high tea set. I'll share with you my on-board experience next time with a video! 怎么说呢？我觉得餐厅的室内设计给本宫的感觉很像８０年代香港上流社会的场合。可能看多了周星驰等港片吧！哈哈！
How to describe? I personally think that the interior design of this restaurant gave me the 80s Hong Kong high level society's places kinda feel. Maybe I watch too much of Stephen Chow's movie! Haha!

如果照片有点儿蒙，请见谅哦！因为被安排的位子有点儿暗，所以比较难补抓到～ 哈哈！皇家下午茶的由来。。。就是很久很久的时候，有一位上流社会的女士，在下午大约４时左右，突然感觉肚子饿了。哎呀！还没到晚餐时间也。。。怎么办？于是，就吩咐了下人准备一些甜食，约了一堆“Ｇｏｓｓｉｐ Ｇａｎｇ”一同享用。久而久之，人家就流传了这文化，觉得是上流社会的日常。故事完毕。。。哈哈！

A long long long time ago, there was a lady from upper society felt a sudden starvation at around 4pm. Aigoo! It was too early for dinner time... What to do? So, she asked her servants to prepare her some desserts and enjoyed it with her "Gossip Gang". As time passes by, people circulate this culture in purpose of wanting to become a part of this high level society. The END... Haha!

最底层—— 放满了甜食与英式松饼或司康饼（Ｓｃｏｎｅ）。本宫最爱的是中间的像炖蛋的法式焦糖脆皮布雷（Ｃｒｅｍｅ Ｂｒｕｌｅｅ）。很浓郁的奶香味，口感也很滑顺，是本宫的最爱之一。但是吃多了会觉得太甜哈哈！旁边的友人（Ｃｅｌｉｎｅ）还很贴心地帮本宫拿多一杯，但是太甜了，所以。。。哈哈！嗯，其他的糕点都过甜了，味道也没有特别出众。他们还说那个彩色马卡龙吃下去就只有甜的味道。本宫没有尝到每一个啦，毕竟是由上往下吃，所以吃到这层时已是糖份过多状态！
The bottom one --- filled with sweet creatures and scones. I like the middle one, creme brulee which tasted like Ipoh's egg pudding the most! Such a strong milky scent, smooth texture. But I felt the over sweetness as the aftertaste. Celine was sitting next to me, she was so sweet to help me to refill another one. Yet, my tongue was diagnosed with coma of sweetness, so... Haha! The rest was too sweet to our liking, the flavour was not decent. They even said they could only taste the sweetness from that rainbow macaron. I did not taste every single of it since this was our last layer, so my sugar level was at its max that time!

The second tier --- various bread kinds. The variety was kinda a lot, I only ate a few of them. I was petrified when I take one of the egg filling sandwich by hand coz it was served cold. Haha! I prefer hot food, so I skipped this a lot~ You guys should try it by your own.

最高层——一些咸点，挞类。那２条应该是虾哈哈！本宫没尝到因为本宫已被咸挞深深吸引咯～友人说那２条蛮好吃的，但是吃多了会比较油。好啦！来说说本宫当天的最爱——咸挞！我的天！真的很好吃！而且是热的！浓郁的起司内陷，加上薄薄脆脆的挞皮，简直。。。只吃这咸挞，本宫就满足咯！！！

I did not try it as I was being mesmerized by the salty tarts d~ They said that the shrimps were nice too but would be a slightly greasy after few bites of it. Alright! Let's emphasize on my fav of the day --- salty tart! OMG! OMMO! So bravo! Filthy delicious! Plus, it was served hot! The rich cheese filling together with the thin crust, it was like hallelujah~ I was fully satisfied with this salty tart!!!

You may choose your own tea as well. I chose the TWINING Chamomile Tea. Still remember that the butler asked me did I feel anxious lately, I said yes coz I have to stay on cruise overnight. She then recommended me this! Haha! So caring~
