Hello guys! IKR, it's been awhile! Here's a long-awaited Penang food blog post for you (actually is for my own memory...) lol! This is my 1st outing to Penang cafe after my Japan trip. So happy to have spent my precious time with quality ppl - Yan who is my first mentor throughout my career haha! For me, she's a really diligent and attentive person. It never gets wrong to hang out with her~ So, we'd been discussing on where to lunch and after a few attempts on searching for new cafes, this is it - 34 Bishop cafe located at Bishop Street in Georgetown (right next to Two Frenchies Cafe).
Makeup is on point, Instagrammable hair pin is on point lol~ 😏

We scratched our head to make food decision. Suddenly, an aunty came to our rescue and couldn't stop recommending us dishes. I bet she is the owner of this 34 Bishop. Is it? Aunty? Haha! Thanks for being so friendly and lively. So, we did order 2 dishes recommended by Aunty.

Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Chop (RM19.90)
Err..I'm not really sure on this but I think my tastebuds have raised to the next level since my Japan trip lol... Honestly, I don't taste much Salted Egg Yolk flavor. It's not that crunchy and slightly oily. The sauce is normal. But the fries taste good. Sorry Aunty, I didn't raise this to you that time as I have too many stories to share with Yan so I said no feedback on food haha~

Miso Wayu Pasta (RM17.90)
A fusion of Japanese & Italian cooking with Miso. We were like what is Wayu... And aunty told us, Wayu is the thing sprinkled on top haha~ The one Takoyaki has. The taste is ok but I still prefer a more Al Dente version of pasta.

After that, we went to Gurney for dessert.. Not really, we just need a place to sit down and continue talking lol we're mulut-murai + cakap+banyak

I can't believe that we talked for so long from 11am to 6pm lol~ A lot to catch up and we'll be sure to hang out more frequently. U don't need a lot of friends, u just need somebody who can listen, understand, guide and share.
BTW, how's my new phone camera? xddd
I also bought this Uncle Tetsu cheesecake coz I miss Japan so much!!! I'd tried their Rikuro Ojisan's cheesecake and it felt so much like heaven.
A small one. Actually, I planned to give my dad but he betrayed me and had dinner out there, so this has been absorbed by my & 2nd sis's tummy.
