【檳城美食】久違的見面、港式點心@ 香港粥面家 Canton-i, Gurney Paragon, Penang. 雖説這家不是賣檳城著名美食，但是，它畢竟是在檳城營業的。。。哈哈！很久沒吃港式點心咯！上一回好像是去怡保一日游的時候（去年新年的時候！！！）！其實我覺得港式的點心還蠻不健康的，熱量也高得逼人呀！而且，很多家店都弄得非常的油膩。但是，因爲今日女主角-‘檳城林依晨’說想吃。。。哈哈！但是有驚喜哦！還蠻不錯的！是的，終于有空更新被我遺棄很久的部落格咯！哈哈！之前，有想過很想関掉它，或是不再更新它，但是這個部落格充滿著從中學時期至成爲上班族的一切點滴。不敢說是‘一切’，因爲我往往都很懶惰上傳任何東西，我的臉書、Instagram也都是。。。空的。。。不算是空啦，就一個月，一次的更新咯！哈哈！很多人都說我應該繼續寫下去，很喜番看我拍的食物照片等，最近，韓國的友人也看了我的部落格哈哈！有種莫名的感覺！很謝謝一路來看我的部落格的每一位！多謝啦! Although, it's Canton-i is not selling any Malaysian food but since it's located in Penang, that's why I labelled this post under Penang Food. Haha! It's been a long time since I last tasted Hong Kong Dim Sum! I think the last time was during my last one day road trip to Ipoh (that time was Chinese New Year Haha!!!)! To be honest, I think Hong Kong Dim Sum is not really healthy, plus the calories are tremendously high! Moreover, those dim sum shops usually cook it in a greasy way. However, our main actress of the day aka the Penang Ariel Lin wants to eat the Chinese Cuisine... Hahah! But I got the surprise! It tasted good though~ Yes, finally got to update here! Haha! I was thinking maybe I should just close down, or not to update anymore, but this blog consists of all of my memories from secondary till now as a white collar. Not everything though coz I always feel lazy to even update my facebook, instagram. You'll realize my social media platforms are almost empty, maybe one update per month. Many have asked me to keep on updating here with tons of food and life pics. Recently, I even got one Korean friend read my blog. haha All in all, really appreciate for your views and supports!

本來我們想要吃正斗的蛋黃哥流沙包，但是不懂是怎樣，倒閉？還是裝修呀？所以我們就到了這家香港粥面家 Canton-i 吃咯！原來它是龍的傳人的旗下店家也！但是這家的價錢就比較平民化咯！
Originally, we planned to try the famous Gudetama Molten Custard Bun from another Chinese restaurant, but not sure whether it's closed or under maintenance. So, we went to this Canton-i! Now I only realized that Canton-i is under the 'Dragon-i! But this Canton-i is prone to a cheaper pricing.

中間的那位就是‘檳城的林依晨’咯！和她的寶貝兒子。而且，非常不好意思地讓她請我們吃這一頓也！下次讓我們買多多食物給你們咯！哈哈！她們倆都是我的貴人！沒有她們在考SPM前夕為我復習的話，我的成績就不會那麽的好咯~而且，她們倆總給我一種很淡定的氣息~哈哈！

The middle one is the Penang's Ariel Lin! With her baby boy. I'm really sorry to let you treat us with this scrumptious meal! Let us buy you more food next time! Maybe Korean Spicy Noodles again? Haha! Both of them are my savior! Without them to help me revise for SPM, I don't think I may get this flying colour kinda result! Plus, they always make me feel steady and calm~ Haha!

其實我真的對港式點心、料理毫無頭緒也，所以我們就叫伊雯決定咯！哈哈！我真的忘了一切的價格，但是絕對比龍的傳人便宜。那，就讓我們看看垂涎欲滴的食物赤裸裸的照片吧！哈哈！聼起來好像很18禁似的。
I honestly have a low degree of knowledge in terms of Hong Kong dim sum and cuisine, so we just asked Cathe to decide. Haha! I can't remember the price but it is surely cheaper than Dragon-i. Let us look at the food porns! Sounds 18 rated! haha!

腌製花生當個小前菜，咸咸的，應該是很下粥的。
The salty pickled peanuts as an appetizer, salty but I think it matches well with white porridge!

咸蛋流沙包一窿-蠻不錯的，裏面的咸蛋黃餡蠻順滑的，也不會太甜。
Salted egg molten custard bun - quite nice, the filling is so soft and not too sweet.

但是，經過吳菀庭的巧手。。。就會。。。整個都被毀了好嗎？！
but, after being done with Wendy's magical hands....it ruined! Haha!

伊雯的最愛，咕咾肉-醬汁蠻好吃，但是肉就蠻多筋的，所以咬的時候就會比較辛苦咯~
Cathe's fav, Sweet and Sour Pork - the sauce is great, but the pork cutlets are a bit chewy with those veins or muscles, I don't know Science~ It's quite hard to bite.

菀庭故意叫的‘狀元及第粥’/内藏粥哈哈！-它的粥很綿密，滑溜溜的，但是本宮還是有一點不敢吃内障啦！膽固醇嘛！
Congee with lean pork, liver and kidney or I named it as viscera congee! Wendy purposely ordered it! The texture is soft as well, but I don't dare to try the pork's internal organ! high in cholesterol ma~

伊雯想喝的云吞湯-本來是想喝燉湯的，但是當天的湯頭不是我們想喝的，所以就。。。哈哈！這云吞很好吃也，内陷是滿滿的蝦仁，很彈牙、新鮮。湯頭就偏咸了點。
Cathe's checklist of having a wanton soup - we initially wanted to order the Chinese low-fire stock but the broth of the day was not that tempting... Haha! But this Wanton is so yummy, the filling is full with shrimps, super fresh and QQ. The soup is a bit salty though.
