Something Else with Someone Else Bistro & Bar @ Bayan Lepas, Penang.
'Something else with someone else' is our tagline today. Are you bored of having same kind of food with the same human? Sometimes, IKR? It's totally okay to occasionally switch the group of people to have meals together and also to explore new cafes or restaurants. Today, I'm gonna share this hidden gem of Bayan Lepas with you. Something Else Bistro & Bar has been operating for more than 1.5 years. But sadly, I'd never given them a chance to try out their menu haha~ My 4th sis highly recommended this Something Else Bistro & Bar to us. Thus, we went there to have our funny lunch.
They have set meals menu available from TUES to SUN as per below:

At that time, Something Else Bistro & Bar was empty except of our existence.
I wonder why as their food is GOOD!
We ordered 1 set meal and 1 lunch set.
For Set Meals, you would get Choice of Main + Soup of the Day + 1 Drink (Coffee/Tea/Coke/7up) at RM19.5++ Only available on Tues to Sun from 11.30am to 3pm.
As for the Lunch Set, you would get the main which then comes with your choice of Coffee or Tea.
Soup of the Day = Tomato Soup
It's nice with a hint of sourness and a few toasted bread cubes.

Mushroom Aglio Olio
Although it's a bit greasy but the taste is good. The portion is BIG too!
Beer Battered Fish and Chips
I really like this one which my 4th sis also recommends a lot. Can you see how gigantic it is? The chips are being smothered by the fish. Let's talk about the side first, I like their salad dressings and for their chips, they shape it perfectly to my liking. The main shining star, the fish is crispy, soft without any uninviting odour. Surprisingly, it's not as greasy as how I thought it'd be. Worth for a try!!!

We just ordered 2 sets as we're ladies right with small stomachs~
No lah~ It's because their portion is too MUCH for us to handle.
