Do you love dessert? Chocolate? Cakes? But your weight and DIET plan do not allow you to do so? No worries! You should have a cheatday at DoubleTree Resort! This blog post title isn't a clickbait. I sincerely think that the Afternoon High Tea served by DoubleTree Resort in Penang is seriously moderate in sweetness! That's why I describe it as LOW SUGAR. You really won't feel guilty eating the Afternoon High Tea set from DoubleTree Resort. This time, DoubleTree Resort was collaborating with Butterflymsia and coming out with this lovely event. Doing BB beauty deco while having a yummy afternoon dessert? What a dreamy idea for all girls!

This afternoon tea set by DoubleTree Resort is also comes with free flow tea. You may choose 1 type of tea out of a variety of Dilmah's choices.
I took around 1 min to decide my choice. My final decision was Rose with French Vanila.

Our sitting. Axis Lounge is an open-air dining space, so be sure to wear something that could keep you safe from the sweat. For me, I didn't really feel warm but the others were sweating around haha~

Grilled smoked tea chicken breast in green tea sandwich bread
It'll be better if they could halve this sandwich while serving. Coz you know, it's hard to cut it evenly haha, just wanna be fair. This was my first pick from this Hi-tea set. I was jaw-dropping at the first bite. WHY? Coz it has the green tea flavour! How surprising! The first time tasting this combination of sweet and savory haha. Actually the green tea bread is not sweet but your brain will automatically think of dessert when you taste something matcha or green tea right? You could also have some red bean bites too if you're lucky. Besides, I like the cheese they used. Was it cheddar? This is definitely my most FAV one!

Tea flavoured chicken quiche
I like this too. It was yummy. However, it made us wondering what was that green thing in this quiche. Haha! I was like asking 'is this green peas? Or they dye the chicken into green colour?'~ The taste didn't relate me to tea though.

Green tea macaroon
Fortunately, this tastes better than the usual macaroon available in Penang. Coz if you do not master in making macaroon, it could be a nightmare haha! It was not too sweet and the texture was good too. I did try the Laduree back in my last trip to London and it was awfully toothsome!

Ginger lemon grass tea infusion cream Brule
It tasted like egg tart though haha. The crust was nice in consistency. But the egg flavour has won over the battle among all other elements used in this dessert.

Royal milk tea espuma in shooter glass
If you like crunchiness, this is definitely a go-to for you. But this tasted slightly sweeter than the others.

Earl grey and white chocolate mousse
When we ate this, this circle mousse has already melted. Haha we were like collecting our memories
back and trying our best to remember on how they looked like at first haha. For me, the earl grey flavour could be added more.
BTW, DoubleTree Resort also gave us a piece of freshly baked signature cookies (too bad, I did not have any pic of that). It tasted really nice and firm in texture, that's how I like! Way better than Subway's one haha!

Each of us got a faux icing with piping kit (forgot to include it here), 10 faux dessert miniature and a complimentary Althea's famous petal velvet powder. And a cute pinkish plastic bag!

I was the first one from my table to complete this BB deco task. It was so fun! Do you like my masterpiece? My hand was shaking so badly after finishing this.
The reason of why I geared up my speed of decorating my BB cushion.... Just to eat! Haha Eating is my motivation!
I don't know why this camera cannot focus both of me and my baby at the same time~

Many of them decorated it on 2 different makeup box. But for me, I decided to just do it on 1 coz the effort you use to pipe is similar to deliver a baby or go to gym for 10k weight lifting haha
After eating and playing around with decoration, it was time for photos~
