I was being invited to attend to this G Hotel Gurney event on last Friday. I think the vital factor which triggered me to attend was their Corporate Social Responsibility - "A Time To GIVE". I always try my best in participating in the charity or any other good-deed-related events. "A Time To GIVE" is being conducted for more than 7 consecutive years by G Hotel which in aid of the 32 children from the Salvation Army Penang Children's Home.

Alright, right now I'm carrying a half-sad-half-merry kinda vibes while writing this blog post. Why sad? This implies that 2017 is coming and the amount of candles being stuck on our birthday cake will be increased by 1 unit. WTH! Why merry? Why should I be sad? Sorry, I always have this kind of contradicting mood. But after all, life is still going on, come hell or high water right? I rather choose to be happy coz Christmas is HERE! As a Malaysian Chinese, I prefer Christmas to Chinese New Year somehow. I'm not alone when it comes to this statement as all of my family members or my friends are all on the same board.
There are many underlying reasons of why I like LOVE Christmas! I'm not sure why but Christmas does give me that kind of soothing vibes, it somehow inspires me. For example, it inspires me to grab my baking kits and bake my favourite cheese cakes with that cute Japanese apron on me. Haha!

【檳城美食】久違的見面、港式點心@ 香港粥面家 Canton-i, Gurney Paragon, Penang. 雖説這家不是賣檳城著名美食，但是，它畢竟是在檳城營業的。。。哈哈！很久沒吃港式點心咯！上一回好像是去怡保一日游的時候（去年新年的時候！！！）！其實我覺得港式的點心還蠻不健康的，熱量也高得逼人呀！而且，很多家店都弄得非常的油膩。但是，因爲今日女主角-‘檳城林依晨’說想吃。。。哈哈！但是有驚喜哦！還蠻不錯的！是的，終于有空更新被我遺棄很久的部落格咯！哈哈！之前，有想過很想関掉它，或是不再更新它，但是這個部落格充滿著從中學時期至成爲上班族的一切點滴。不敢說是‘一切’，因爲我往往都很懶惰上傳任何東西，我的臉書、Instagram也都是。。。空的。。。不算是空啦，就一個月，一次的更新咯！哈哈！很多人都說我應該繼續寫下去，很喜番看我拍的食物照片等，最近，韓國的友人也看了我的部落格哈哈！有種莫名的感覺！很謝謝一路來看我的部落格的每一位！多謝啦! Although, it's Canton-i is not selling any Malaysian food but since it's located in Penang, that's why I labelled this post under Penang Food. Haha! It's been a long time since I last tasted Hong Kong Dim Sum! I think the last time was during my last one day road trip to Ipoh (that time was Chinese New Year Haha!!!)! To be honest, I think Hong Kong Dim Sum is not really healthy, plus the calories are tremendously high! Moreover, those dim sum shops usually cook it in a greasy way. However, our main actress of the day aka the Penang Ariel Lin wants to eat the Chinese Cuisine... Hahah! But I got the surprise! It tasted good though~ Yes, finally got to update here! Haha! I was thinking maybe I should just close down, or not to update anymore, but this blog consists of all of my memories from secondary till now as a white collar. Not everything though coz I always feel lazy to even update my facebook, instagram. You'll realize my social media platforms are almost empty, maybe one update per month. Many have asked me to keep on updating here with tons of food and life pics. Recently, I even got one Korean friend read my blog. haha All in all, really appreciate for your views and supports!

大家別來無恙嗎？今天想與大家分享上個月嘗到的美味---Ben's Diner。應該不陌生吧？因爲這家德國餐館已開張有一段時間了，並且上過了蠻多次的報章。Ben's Diner是位于Bayan Lepas, Sunway Tunas裏。那裏算是蠻難找的，像我醬的路痴必定會迷路！哈哈！早前陳家老3就推薦過無數次了，這次是本宮第一次的初體驗。很多人都說Ben's Diner的德國香腸非常棒，但是我沒有點到這一道也。大家可以去嘗看，然後告訴我好不好吃咯！讓我們一同看看Ben's Diner的食物唄！Hello everybody! How are you? Today, I'm gonna share a Penang Restaurant that I chanced upon last month --- Ben's Diner. I think it's quite popular among all of the Penang Food Hunters right? The underlying reason is that this German eatery had kick-started its business for quite some time and being gazetted on newspaper several times before. Ben's Diner is situated in Bayan Lepas, Sunway Tunas area. I think that area is quite hard to search for especially when you are a direction-less kinda ppl like me!!! Haha! My 3rd sis, Christine had been recommending this to me previously but I'd never been there before and this is my first time. Quite a lot of people saying that their German sausage is yummy but I did not order it for that day. You guys may go and try it and tell us whether it's nice! Let's see the food from Ben's Diner together!

外面是醬的，有點兒Old School的感覺。有點像70年代的理髮店。哈哈！
From the outer site, it carries a slightly old school vibe. Like a barber in 70s. Haha!
裏面的裝潢就比較居家式咯，也帶點兒老德國風。但是最耀眼的莫過於那一輛摩托車啦！！！其實我還蠻想騎上去的但是。。。店主應該會看到傻眼吧哈哈！
The interior design is more to a home style feel, but as well carries a mere German feel. I think the motorcycle is the only thing in the limelight! I was wanting to sit on it but... I think the owner would be dumbfounded!

牧羊人豬餡餅 Pork Shepherd's Pie（RM23）
這是我第一次吃牧羊人豬餡餅也！一直誤以爲它是有牛油香的千層餅皮的。有培根，沙拉。那個肉碎沒有臭豬味，上面鋪滿了馬鈴薯泥和起司。香香的，但是我還是比較喜歡有得咬的食物哈哈！
This is my freaking very FIRST time tasting the Shepherd's Pie! I always thought that it has the buttery layered pastry on top. Bacon & salad. I think the minced pork doesn't carry the weird odour, there's mash potato and cheese on top. Smells great, but I still prefer to eat that kind of harder food that will make my teeth feel that they have do their great job! Haha!
烤雞肉塊 Baked Boneless Chicken（RM18）
一句話，讚！！！肉質鮮嫩多汁，烤得剛剛好。馬鈴薯塊也處理得非常好。那碗汁更是錦上添花呀！酸酸的檸檬味，讓人垂涎呀！
One word, GOOD! The chicken is fresh and juicy, perfectly baked. The potato cuts are cooked flawlessly as well. It became better when you taste it together with the complementary sauce. Lemon sourish flavor that can ignite your appetite for sure!

馬來西亞 華人 玩命挑戰 韓國'過期'超辣面！會死嗎？Korean EXPIRED Spicy Noodle Dangerous Challenge + Train to BUSAN! 말레이시아사람
喂！相信我！我真的很認真地在寫這一次的文章的哦！邊看邊寫下故事内容與小女自己的想法。已經有一段時間沒有看動漫了。上一出應該是宮崎駿的《起風了》。還記得是在GSC電影院的日本文化季看的。覺得故事很淒涼，也不是啥魔術的，所以我給的評論就還好的說。新海誠？聼都沒聼過。因爲，本宮看最多的還是韓劇啦！哈哈！無意間在臺灣TVBS新聞台看到這個動漫的介紹，聽説轟動了全日本，票房也很好！所以迫不及待就看了！
時不宜遲，開始吧！（假如你不喜歡在看之前就知道故事内容的話，就退出吧！哈哈！因爲真的有人會不喜歡也，我剛好相反，喜歡聼故事先，因爲反正也會忘記---所謂的選擇性記憶。）
一開始，男主角（龍）就與女主角（三葉）交換了身體。龍就被嚇到，因爲看到自己有胸部還隨手搾了幾下，然後看看四周都是陌生的環境，還吊著三葉的女校服，‘姐姐’，三葉的妹妹前來叫他起床，讓他覺得‘啥？你叫我姐姐？”哈哈！然後就給我們聼歌了。
下一幕就是三葉起床準備吃早餐上課，妹妹與婆婆都覺得，今天終于正常回了。三葉頓時搞不懂他們在說啥。與朋友前往學校的路上，（敕使河原和耶香）他們也一同說了她昨天很奇怪。到了學校，老師發問問題叫了她，她就站了起來，老師就說，你終于記得自己的名字了嗎？哈哈！三葉是來自鄉下的，沒有咖啡館，書店，連便利商店晚上9點就關店了。三葉也說‘也沒人要嫁來這’。三葉家族好像是與神明有些關係的，所以她必須參加拜拜儀式，將酒含在嘴裏然後吐出來。。。這舉動讓青春期的她覺得很不堪，被同學取笑。她就大喊：“我要當東京的帥哥！”怎知。。。。
閙鈴響了，滾下床了，醒來的時候，發覺自己的四周都很陌生。尤其覺得下面好像有些啥似的，一摸，就大喊了！！！她與龍交換了軀體！爸爸在飯廳罵道：“今天不是你煮早餐嗎？”。三葉很禮貌的抱了歉，這讓龍的爸爸覺得很奇怪。哈哈！然後呢，她就上學了。在路上看到四周先進的風景，大廈，讓她覺得很驚奇！班上同學都在說些很時尚，很潮的話題。站在門口不敢進去，突然有人從背後拍了她，原來是龍的兩位友人啦。休息節的時候，她還跪著也（日本女性坐法），哈哈，説話也很女人，還說：‘watashiwa’，忘了用男性的説話方式。友人也傻眼。友人提問，待會兒要不要去咖啡店，她就喊了很大聲，因爲太興奮了，鄉下根本沒有這東東呀！
到了咖啡館，她就說哇，這價錢可供她吃一周了。。。朋友傻眼說，啥？你是啥世紀的人呀？哈哈！她就亂亂叫，還用手機拍了照片啦，還說這夢真美麗哈哈！過後，閙鈴再次響起，原來是打工時間到了。她還問朋友，哪裏是她打工的地方哈哈！超搞笑的。
原來是侍應啦。忙得她不可開交。還被兩個小混混作弄說皮薩裏有牙籤，賴死不給錢，幸好有一位美紀前輩救了。然後發覺她的裙後面被小混混割破了，她就拉她進房說脫下裙給我，嚇死人麽？哈哈！她就趕緊說，我會翻過頭的。就醬幫了她縫補，還有可愛的圖形哦！回家，發覺龍有寫日記的習慣，就記錄下，一同與美紀前輩下班哈哈。她也不忘寫下自己的名字在龍的手掌心。
就醬，他們每週2-3次調換，三葉還擅自幫她發展，改變與前輩的關係，讓龍很錯愕。龍就。。。像個很隨性的大姐大，踢桌子啦，打籃球不顧自己的胸部啦，坐姿腳開開啦等等。搞到還有女生向她告白哈哈！

就變去回憶裏，看見了原來三葉以前有找過他。但是因爲是3年前，時間點不同，所以只有三葉知道自己的變身經驗，而龍根本不知道。所以三葉叫龍，但是龍說你是誰，你叫啥名？留了她的頭髮的橡皮筋給他。三葉傷心到剪了自己的頭髮。然後，不懂爲啥，龍一醒來又回到了三葉的身體裏。哈哈！他就趕快向所有鎮裏的人民說將會發生的災難。
結局就是他成功了。但也忘了發生過啥。只知道自己好像要找某些東西。哈哈！過後，他們各自在不同的地鐵上看見對方，覺得，厄，這就是要找的人。兩人就互找對方。。。終于見到了，兩人沒打招呼，就醬擦身而過。因爲大家都怕對方不認得對方，龍忍不住叫了她，問了她名字，就醬，完了。哈哈！
個人覺得還蠻好看的，雖説沒有好像千與千尋那麽吸精，但是也是不錯的。期間，三葉的聲音還蠻嚇人的說哈哈！好像鬼片！大家可以去看哦！！！
閙鈴響了，滾下床了，醒來的時候，發覺自己的四周都很陌生。尤其覺得下面好像有些啥似的，一摸，就大喊了！！！她與龍交換了軀體！爸爸在飯廳罵道：“今天不是你煮早餐嗎？”。三葉很禮貌的抱了歉，這讓龍的爸爸覺得很奇怪。哈哈！然後呢，她就上學了。在路上看到四周先進的風景，大廈，讓她覺得很驚奇！班上同學都在說些很時尚，很潮的話題。站在門口不敢進去，突然有人從背後拍了她，原來是龍的兩位友人啦。休息節的時候，她還跪著也（日本女性坐法），哈哈，説話也很女人，還說：‘watashiwa’，忘了用男性的説話方式。友人也傻眼。友人提問，待會兒要不要去咖啡店，她就喊了很大聲，因爲太興奮了，鄉下根本沒有這東東呀！
到了咖啡館，她就說哇，這價錢可供她吃一周了。。。朋友傻眼說，啥？你是啥世紀的人呀？哈哈！她就亂亂叫，還用手機拍了照片啦，還說這夢真美麗哈哈！過後，閙鈴再次響起，原來是打工時間到了。她還問朋友，哪裏是她打工的地方哈哈！超搞笑的。
原來是侍應啦。忙得她不可開交。還被兩個小混混作弄說皮薩裏有牙籤，賴死不給錢，幸好有一位美紀前輩救了。然後發覺她的裙後面被小混混割破了，她就拉她進房說脫下裙給我，嚇死人麽？哈哈！她就趕緊說，我會翻過頭的。就醬幫了她縫補，還有可愛的圖形哦！回家，發覺龍有寫日記的習慣，就記錄下，一同與美紀前輩下班哈哈。她也不忘寫下自己的名字在龍的手掌心。
就醬，他們每週2-3次調換，三葉還擅自幫她發展，改變與前輩的關係，讓龍很錯愕。龍就。。。像個很隨性的大姐大，踢桌子啦，打籃球不顧自己的胸部啦，坐姿腳開開啦等等。搞到還有女生向她告白哈哈！

{When a Chinese Girl makes good friends with Malay Buddies! Farewell feast @ Dave Deli, Queensbay Mall, Penang.} I've been wanting to blog about this since ages ago. I uploaded this batch of photos privately on my blog for quite some time... This was happened on a Friday, 29th July 2016. It's October now! OMG! I should really learn how to manage my time! But I always behave like this, haha! The reason why I like to defer blogging about an event is that I still write my personal handwritten journal at night. Not every night of course (sometime after work I'll be like a zombie and lied dying on my bed). By blogging it late can help me to retrospect all those precious memories me and my fellow buddies created together and help me to remind myself on how grateful I should me and my authenticity of life. We often get drifted off by some superficial things and people. When I was still in primary school, I used to follow the majority to boycott and see my 'team bully leader' to bully the others. I wasn't wanting to boycott those victims but I was being forced to if I didn't want to be the next victim.

{九王爺/九皇大帝吃到飽自由餐Buffet！檀香寺 Than Hsiang Temple} 覺得最近真的忙到沒話説。本來想要提早寫這篇文的，但是。。。哈哈！遲寫好過沒寫啦！哈哈！以下照片都是去年所拍的，你看，我現在才PO文。哈哈！九王爺/九王大地，大家通常都會去哪兒吃呢？立信？車水路？常青樹？以前的我也是，但是自從前年，我們陳家一家人都去檀香寺吃咯~縂覺得這裡滿是回憶。。。檀香寺是小女的幼稚園，覺得這地方含有很多我已忘記了的回憶。想當初自己還是個傻傻的小妹子，現今已是（不至于亭亭玉立啦！）步調慢不下來的小資女。有時候，真的需要一些回憶來慫恿自己慢下腳步。好啦！不哈拉啦！I really do feel that I'm smothered in BUSY-ness! Was intending to post this in advance but....Haha! The pictures below are all taken from last year, see, now I only manage to post it. Haha! Where do you usually head to for food during this 9 Emperor Gods Festival? Lip Sin? Burma Road? Or any vegetarian restaurant? I used to go these few spots, but since last few years, our Tang Family stick to Than Hsiang Temple for FOOD! I feel that this place is full of memories. I used to study here, feel that this place has lots of 'forgotten' memories. That time I was still a silly little girl, now is a working lady with fast pace. Sometime, we really do need some memories to prod us in slowing down our paces. OKAY, stop chitchatting here!

[REAL STORY] Not mine defintely!!! Just some of my friends had been broken up with their EX-boyfriends recently. Factional of them are crying like hell. I just feel so emotional whenever seeing them losing their confidence towards themselves. So, I was inspired to do this MAKEUP which is pretty match for you to wear it to a dinner alone or meeting a new guy. The hairstyle here is pretty freestyle, middle-parted with a half-updo. As for the eye makeup, I used the Korean trendy champagne pink colour as eye shadow and drew a pair of droopy eyeliners. For me, I have pretty fierce and energetic eyes, that's why I purposely drew downwards for the eyeliners or else I'm gonna end up looking like 'I wanna kill my EX' kinda look! Haha!
In a nutshell, I wish everyone would have a fantastic and dreamy fall / autumn this year in 2016. BEAUTY is within you, SMILE and FINGER CROSSED!
